Our Staff
William Gorman was selected as the new Executive Director of the Statewide Independent Living Council of Illinois effective December 7, 2009. Mr. Gorman has served and/or advocated for individuals with disabilities for the past 37 years in the states of Indiana, Colorado and Iowa. Mr. Gorman's experiences have included service provision, advocacy, state planning, legislative advocacy, interagency collaboration and public policy research. Tara Dunning resides in Springfield. Tara is SILC's Financial Manager and has been employed by SILC since March, 1996. She has also served as the lead organizer of the Illinois Youth with Disabilities Leadership Summit. E-mail Tara Dunning at tara@silcofillinois.org
